There are several units in the course. First, students learn how to introduce themselves and get familiar with common nouns and verbs in daily life. Then they learn how to make sentences to express themselves by means of using sentence patterns,correct grammar and vocabulary in the hantouts in class. They are asked to do writing practice and oral practice in class through the design of course curriculum. It is expected that they can improve their understanding in the organization of the English grammar and increase the ability in reading. With the participation in speaking and listening in the class environment similar to the target culture, they will thus become more comfortable while having conversations with foreigners from the English-speaking countries.
